Swimming Camp


The 2017 Florida Tech Elite Swim Camp is geared towards all ages of competitive swimming. The Stroke & Skill session will cover all technical aspects of the sport, including starts & turns. The Speed & Power session will not only include these skills, but also cover crucial factors in developing speed & power. Resistance swimming will be utilized via power racks/power towers, as well as an introduction to the tactical skills necessary in sprint swimming. The camp is instructed and supervised by Florida Tech Swimming coaching staff and current student-athletes. Each camper will receive a 30 minute individual skill session with a member of the coaching staff.


Session # 1: June 19th-June 23rd
  • Option 1 - Stroke & Skill session: $200
  • Option 2 - Includes both Stroke & Skill session + Speed & Power Session: $400
Session # 2: July 10th-July 14th
  • Option 1 - Stroke & Skill session: $200
  • Option 2 - Includes both Stroke & Skill session + Speed & Power Session: $400

Daily format:

  • 9:00am - Arrive at Panther Aquatic Center
  • 9:15-10:00am - Video and identify objectives for the day’s swim session
  • 10:00-Noon - Swim skills and drills
  • Noon-1:00pm - Lunch at Panther Dining Hall (cost included in camp fees)
    Option 1 pick-up at 1pm
    Option 2 includes sessions after 1pm
  • 1-1:45pm - Flexibility/Dryland
  • 1:45-3:45pm - Speed & Power
  • 4:00pm - Parent Pick up

*Inclement weather may move activities indoors*

What to bring

Suit, Goggles, Towel, Tennis Shoes, Dryland Clothes, and water
